Legno assembled into 'Punto Unghero' Design.

This unique pale and dusty terracotta is handmade and then baked in Arabesque wood-fired kilns. Most factories that used this technique have ceased to exist or have changed to more modern methods. The result of gas and electric firing can never re-create the result this range achieves. This terracotta is one of a kind.

This antique method of firing terracotta is virtually extinct. No method creates the colour variation, hues and patina of this process.

Our woodfired terracotta is shaped into squares, diamonds, triangles, hexagons, octagons, hingarian point, herringbone strips and combined with glazed ceramics and stone to create wonderous effects.
