Nacre ~ Mother of pearl (butt jointed)
Named so, because it is literally the "mother", or creator, of true pearls.
Completely handmade, this finely cut and shaped Nacre (mother of pearl) shell is carefully set on mesh for ease of installation. Each shell tessera is 10mm, 15mm or 20mm square. Thi soption is butt-jointed, however we do also hav a option with a joint (click here).
Commissions have included walls, vanity unit doors and tabletops. Its uses are endless. Where the budget is restricted we recommend that our clients use shell for borders, dados (chair rails) or as accent tiles.
