De Ferranti Limited Purchases Paris Ceramics

As part of De Ferranti's expansion plans, director Alvaro de Ferranti is pleased to announce his recent purchase of Paris Ceramics. 'The products and services offered by Paris Ceramics perfectly complement those offered at De Ferranti,' says Alvaro, 'allowing us to add a wider range of traditional, rustic stone and terracotta flooring, both antique and modern, to our highly exclusive and customized surfaces.'

Since its inception in 1982, Paris Ceramics has pioneered the reclamation of both antique stone and terracotta, but has also developed newly quarried stone that has the look of luxurious reclaimed tiles while costing considerably less than the real thing. 'We will continue to supply our products and services to our international clientele,' advises Richard Robson, General Manager of Paris Ceramics, who will continue to run the King's Road showroom for De Ferranti.

But with De Ferranti's knack for sourcing floors and exquisite surfaces from around the world, there will be a new dynamism brought to the Paris portfolio. 'Of course, I'll be refining the collection,' says Alvaro, 'but without taking away those very classic qualities of product that designers loved from the heyday of Paris Ceramics.'
