More about Gesso:
Reminiscent of Cordoba Leather, our gesso faced fabric is a truly bold statement
The use of gesso in decoration goes back many centuries, it has adorned many Castles and stately homes to palaces such as Versailes and the Hermitage. It is still used today as a base for water gilding and as a primer for fine art canvases. The techniques we have championed allow us to use these traditional finishes in more contemporary settings. We produce a wide range of cracked or crackled gesso finishes. These can be applied to walls and even curved surfaces, raised relief patterns can also be applied.
The colour pallette is limitless as are the pattern possibilities.
