Mother of Pearl’s shimmering, iridescent finish makes it perfect for decorative surfaces. Once thought of as a delicate material, advances in bonding technology now allow Mother of Pearl to be used as tiles and panels as well as the more traditional inlays.

De Ferranti’s design and commission service offers Shellwork in an infinite variety of colours, textures and patterns. Tiles and panels are made to order and shell inlay work, including furniture and screens, is also undertaken to special commission.
